How to find us by car

Please note that we are not located at the main downtown campus area of the J.W. Goethe University of Frankfurt (district Bockenheim). You can find us in the north-west of the city (district Niederursel).

We are located at the department of chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences, building N140, ground floor.

We will restrict our directions to one easy way to find us by car, from wherever you come from. It may not always be the shortest way, in particular when approaching from the north and east. In general, you may be misguided by two motorways (A5 and A661) which pass by the Niederursel Campus, but which both currently do not have exits or junctions close to the university.

The way that we recommend is to approach by the highway ("Schnellstrasse") labelled as "L3004" and named "Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse", which brings you (without traffic lights) to us from the A66 Motorway, when you exit at "Miquelallee" (exit no. 21) in the direction of "Nordweststadt". On "L3004" follow the direction north as labelled with "Bad Homburg" and "Oberursel", until vou find an exit "Mertonviertel". From there you automatically arrive at the "Marie-Curie-Strasse" and then take a left turn up the hill to the Niederursel Campus of the University.
